Tagging Affero to your work

Affero can be tagged to many types of online work. Email, newsletter, websites, forum posts, articles and other forms of digital works can all be tagged with Affero.

Step 1:
Login to Affero and select the "Update Author Preference" page. Click on the webpage name that you want to use to tag to your work. In this example "my profile" was selected.

Step 2:
(a) To add an affero link to your email messages, highlight the URL for webpage (see yellow box below), copy it to your text editor and save it - in most cases as signature.txt file. Be sure to remember the location of the file. Scroll down this page (past the image) to get specific instructions for Kmail, Mozilla, Netscape, & Outlook.

(b) In a bulletin board forum where affero has been integrated, simply add your affero username in the appropriate field in the forum registration/profile page. If the forum is not fully integrated with affero, just highlight the URL for webpage (see yellow box below) and paste it into the "signature" section of the forum registration/profile page.

(c) To add an affero link to your webpage, blog, newsletter, or other HTML file, see instructions here.
